Cyprus American Archeological Research Institute

The mission of the Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute (CAARI) is to promote studies of Cypriot archaeology and related disciplines in the humanities and sciences. To achieve its aims:

1. CAARI presents an annual series of public lectures on a broad range of humanistic topics relevant to Cyprus.  

2. Every year, normally in June, CAARI organises an annual Archaeological Workshop in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities Cyprus and the Archaeological Research Unit of the University of Cyprus.

3. CAARI offers fellowships specifically for graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and scholars at all levels.

4. CAARI publishes a series of monographs 

Located in Nicosia, Cyprus, it provides one of the most important centers for the scholarly study of archaeology, history and culture in the Eastern Mediterranean.
