The Postgraduate Programme of the School of History and Archaeology (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) offers Ph.D. Degree in the field both of Byzantine and Medieval History, and of Byzantine Archaeology, which is awarded after a successful viva of a thesis in a period of no less than of 6 semesters. Ph.D. candidates are expected to complete a thesis and participate in graduate seminars, colloquia, and conferences organized by the Department.
