The Society for Laconian Studies is a scientific society headquartered in Athens. The purpose of the Society is the development of scientific research on Laconia, including Byzantine art and history, with the publication of the scientific journal "Laconian Studies" and independent volumes as Supplements", the creation of a laconian library, the collection of archival material and the organization of conferences.
