The CUBN association has the following objectives:

• The valorization, defense, and promotion of Byzantine and Neo-Greek studies within the framework of research, training, and university teaching organization, encompassing the design of undergraduate, three-year, master's, and doctoral programs, specialization schools, and research doctorates;
• Ensuring the preservation of the specificity and autonomy of these studies within the academic and university context;
• Ensuring the comprehensive representation of requests and interests associated with the relevant scientific-disciplinary sectors (L-FIL-LET/07; L-LIN-20) within administrative offices and with institutional counterparts.
