Louvre Museum, Paris – Arts of Byzantium and Christianity in the East
The Louvre Museum is moving ahead with the establishment of a dedicated department for Byzantine Art and Eastern Christendom, comprising 12,000 works from Ethiopia to Russia. The new space, connected with related departments, aims to present a comprehensive historical narrative through a renewed scenography. The first public viewings are anticipated in 2026, thus its website will be developed later.
