The Department of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Antiquities and Museums of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Arta handles issues related to archaeological sites, monuments and historical sites of the prefecture, dating from the 4th c. A.D. until 1830, as well as in newer religious monuments from 1830 onwards.
