The virtual exhibition 'Nordic Tales, Byzantine Paths' traces the long and winding story of Nordic-Byzantine interactions through the medium of objects, art, stories and original accounts from the 9th to the 13th century. 

This virtual exhibition is a collaboration between the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul (SRII) and Koç University Stavros Niarchos Foundation Center for Late Antique and Byzantine Studies (GABAM). It has been supported by Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts Publications (Yapı Kredi Kültür Sanat Yayıncılık), Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation and Retracing Connections Project, Uppsala.
