Βyzantina Symmeikta is an international peer-reviewed open-access electronic journal published by the Institute of Historical Research-Byzantine Section of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF). It is dedicated to the publication of original research in the field of Byzantine and post-byzantine studies, providing free access to high-quality scholarly research to everyone. Revised manuscripts of accepted articles are published immediately upon submission of the final version. Each volume comprises the total of the articles published during the year. A print edition appears at regular intervals.
