Reti Medievali (RM) is a scholarly initiative that commenced in 1998, initiated by a consortium of scholars from the Universities of Florence, Naples, Palermo, Venice, and Verona. Its inception aimed to address the challenges arising from the fragmentation of historiographical languages and research subjects.

RM Rivista and RM E-Book are online publications available under an open-access model, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. These platforms exclusively feature texts and materials that have undergone rigorous screening (peer-reviewed) by the editorial team and an independent referee board.
